Paul Harvey

If you’ve landed on this page then you know Paul Harvey is one of the best storytellers who ever existed.  Some call him the master storyteller.  Fans of Mr. Harvey, a large group of which I am certainly included, comment regularly about how much they miss hearing his voice on their radios.  The speak of fond memories of listening to “The Rest of the Story” and his “News and Comment” with a certain relative who is no longer with us.  I constantly hear and agree that we need more Paul Harvey’s in the world.  Mr. Harvey may no longer be with us, but we can celebrate his talents through his recordings.

Mr. Harvey is partly responsible for directing me toward a master’s degree in history.  From the moment I heard my first “The Rest of the Story,” I was hooked.  I wanted to know more.  I have always enjoyed how Mr. Harvey could reel me in with the mystery while teaching me history.  As a former adjunct professor of history, I can certainly appreciate someone who is able to reach an audience in such a way as Mr. Harvey’s recordings did and continue to do.

In 2018, I began writing stories in an ongoing series called “Remember This?: Real Stories about Real People…with a Twist,” which are similar to Mr. Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story.”  The series is in syndication by several Louisiana and Arkansas online and traditional newspapers.  If you would like your hometown newspaper to carry “Remember This?”, please have them contact me here.  You can also send me a message at the same link.

I have published three volumes of “Remember This?” which are available on this website by clicking here (if you prefer a signed copy), Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.
